Dollar for Dollar Match
A giver donates $50.
HopeGives matches $50.
The missionary receives $100 and a new donor relationship begins.


$5 Program (New Giver Incentive)
A giver donates $5 or more (the average first time gift is $40+).
HopeGives bonuses the gift with $50.
The missionary receives $55 or more and a brand new donor relationship begins.
This program powerfully incentivizes first time givers.

Our Commitment to Integrity

We believe clarity builds trust. Here is exactly how HopeGives works.
HopeGives is a $0 base platform. There are no fees to missionaries, churches, or organizations.
Platform operations are funded primarily by voluntary donor TIPs (Together Impacting People).

Matching Funds use only 7 percent of the fund for

  • A small, dedicated staff
  • Modest and effective marketing
  • A secure, high quality technology platform
  • Accounting, compliance, and financial oversight

Every donation helps sustain the platform so more resources can flow directly to missionaries and mission projects.

 

FAQ

Why are checks written to New Life Church?
Currently, the Matching Fund operates under the umbrella of New Life Church. This allows us to receive and deploy matching funds immediately. We are in the process of forming a new nonprofit, HopeGives Foundation. Once established, all matching funds will transition fully to that organization.
Who provides the tax receipt?
At this time, New Life Church provides the tax receipt. In the future, HopeGives Foundation will provide receipts once fully established.
Can we receive Assemblies of God giving credit?
Yes. When giving to the Matching Fund, you may designate which church or organization should receive Assemblies of God credit, and we will report it accordingly.
Does HopeGives charge missionaries or churches?
No. HopeGives is a $0 base platform. We do not charge missionaries, churches, or organizations.
How is the platform funded?
Primarily through voluntary donor TIPs (Together Impacting People) and 7 percent from the Matching Fund.
