If you're affiliated with a church, nonprofit, or denomination and want to raise funds through HopeGives, the first step is to claim your organization. Here's how:
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Go to Your Account

Click your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Select Your Organizations from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Start the Claim Process

Click Claim an Organization.

Select whether your organization is a Denomination, Church, or Nonprofit.

Click Next.

Step 3: Search for Your Organization

Use the search bar to type your organization's name, address, or EIN (Employer Identification Number).

Once you find the correct organization, click Next.

Helpful tip: Searching by EIN is the fastest and most accurate way to locate your organization.
Step 4: Complete the Application

Answer the verification questions and provide any additional required details.

| What if I don’t have an organization email? | We use organization emails to help validate claims. If you do not have access to one, ask someone in your organization who does to complete the claim process. Once the organization is claimed, they can invite you to be an admin on the account. |

| How long does validation take? | Once you submit your claim request, our team typically reviews it within 24 to 48 hours. We may reach out for additional information during this time, so please watch your email. |
| Can I raise funds for my organization without claiming it? | Yes and no. You can create a campaign as an individual and mention your organization in the description, but to raise funds officially on behalf of an organization, it must be claimed first. |
