Step By Step guide to Create a Hope Campaign

Follow these 7 simple steps to create and launch your Hope Campaign:

Click Start a Hope Campaign

Step 1: Choose Who the Campaign Is For

  • Individual – Raise funds for yourself or someone you know

  • Missionary – Raise funds as a missionary affiliated with an approved organization

  • Church – Raise funds as a church (available only to admins and owners)

  • Nonprofit, Denomination, or District – Raise funds on behalf of an organization (admins and owners only)

Click Next to continue.


Step 2: Set Your Campaign Goal

Enter the total amount you'd like to raise. Choose a realistic goal that reflects your actual need.
You can always run multiple campaigns if you’re fundraising for different purposes.

Click Next when you're ready.


Step 3: Tell Donors About Your Campaign

You can write your own campaign title and description or use the built-in Writing Assistant to generate them.Screenshot 2025-05-20 at 5-13-48 PM

Also complete:

  • Campaign Category – Choose the category that fits your campaign

  • Tags – Add keywords to help donors discover your campaign (e.g., “Thailand,” “Youth Ministry”)

Click Next to move on.


Step 4: Add a Cover Photo and Video

Upload a high-quality, engaging photo that represents your mission.
A compelling image helps donors connect emotionally and improves visibility.

Drag and drop your image into the upload box or click to select a file.

  • Add a video after your cover photo is uploaded.

Click Next once your photo is added.


Step 5: Choose Campaign Dates

  • Start Date – The day your campaign will go live
  • End Date – OPTIONAL: Leave blank for ongoing campaigns with no deadline

Click Next to continue.


Step 6: Add Project Info and Display Settings

  • Zip Code – OPTIONAL: Helps with location-based visibility
  • Project ID – If your organization uses one, enter it here so donations can be tracked and processed correctly

You can also choose what to display publicly:

  • Campaign Goal

  • Amount Raised

  • Top Donors

Toggle each on or off based on your preference.

Click Next to proceed.


Step 7: Review and Submit

Review all of your campaign details:

  • Title, description, and photo

  • Goal amount and category

  • Campaign dates and settings

  • Project ID (if applicable)

Once everything looks good, click Submit.
