Why Funds are on Hold
HopeGives places a 3-day hold on all donations to help protect both donors and campaign owners.
This brief hold allows us to verify the transaction, ensure there are no fraudulent activities, and confirm that the donation meets compliance requirements.
In your PayPal account, this will appear as a Hold. Within 3 days, the hold will automatically clear, and the funds will show as available for transfer in your PayPal account.
